The Triton shower has broken, dad has put us in charge of fixing it. I am meant to be looking on eBay for a replacement part but I’ve got this work to do about the illustration, graphic design and animation studio my brother and I have set up in the spare room downstairs. We are trying our best to make a success of our lives. We live in hope but also on the outskirts of Birmingham with our parents.
We graduated in graphic design and animation respectively, both at UWE Bristol. We then moved back to Birmingham to follow our dreams. We worked the summer car boot circuit and sold off everything we owned that wasn’t a basic living requirement. After the long hot summer of car booting out of the back of dad’s Renault Espace we put together all our funds to buy a new print cartridge and printed off a business plan to pitch to Kerry, Gurpreet and Dan at Birmingham University Enterprise and Innovation unit. The pitch went alright and we got a grant off them just before the programme was hit by the cuts. The money we got has now gone to making some of this site, this page here is one good example.
So this is it, the site we have made, we are living the dream, from our parent's house, constantly in old clothes and doing odd jobs around the home to contribute to the household.
